GOLDEN ACHIEVERS Honoring
greetings,
It is time to get excited about our Golden Achievers recognition . As you are all aware this honoring is in its 5th year and has been very well received by Our membership and its honorees. This year is different and special, as these honors will take place at the Annual Shrine and Chaplains brunch held on Sunday August 9th, 2026 at 12:30pm at the Hilton inner Harbor.
The changes have been made to better accommodate the honorees and their families so they can be present for this very distinguished honor celebrating 50 or more years of service in the IBPO Elks of the World. The combination of these programs also lets us celebrate our membership more broadly together.
If you missed the celebration last year, or did not quite have fifty years of service, here is your chance to submit information to recognize the Brothers and Daughters of your Lodge and
Temple. The sponsorship fee of $25 can be mailed in to the Elks Grand lodge along with the completed nomination form. All tickets MUST be purchased through the Elks Grand Lodge for attendance. (This ticket is included in the brothers registration) additional tickets are available for purchase.
Our intent is to make each “Golden Achiever” aware of our appreciation of their untiring support and dedication to this Organization and we realize that we could not have reached this milestone without them paving the way.
The recognition of an individual will be selected to receive the Brad El Humanitarian Award. Enclosed is an application to submit your nominee for this award along with the criteria. This nominee may be any Elk member (male or female) other than your 50-year Golden Achiever, that have emulated Brad’s image in Elkdom while placing special emphasis on community development and relationships.
We, the chairpersons, look forward to working with the entire membership as we move forward to honor the worthy recipients.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns, as we move forward.
Fraternally,
Bro. Derrick Spann, Chairperson
Dgt. Tiawana Silver, Chairperson
